MY BACKGROUND
I have more than 8 years work experience in various fields related to human mental
health, and in psychotherapy centers for (adults, children and families) treating
mood disorders such as depression, anxiety & panic disorders, OCD, PTSD, sleep
and eating disorders, emotions and perceptions disorders, substance use disorders,
behavioral difficulties and family conflict.
Practiced in various therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, EMDR Narrative
Therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, social skills training, cognitive rehabilitation
and hypnotherapy, to enhance coping and reduce distress to the referred
population.
Psychological testing and assessment experience for mood disorders, personality
and intelligence.
Knowledge of psychopathology (Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD) for child and
adolescents.
Providing psychotherapy and psychosocial assessments for clients who require
support for psychological issues arising as a result of injuries/incidents in the
workplace, motor vehicle accidents, or through other third party funded services.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to
work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Hypnotherapy & Self-Hypnosis training.
Risk assessments for criminal and sexual offenders (Forensic Psychological
Assessment) & writing psychological parole & third party reports.
Membership in OPA, CPA & the Canadian Art Therapy Association.
Ability in the using with various computer tools and familiar with Microsoft Office
(Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and SPSS.
